Recently a colleague on Twitter posted what is an application of basic Christian ethics concerning women not advertising their bodies on hooks for every fool to take at their own demise (cf. Proverbs 31:1–9).

The meltdown was intense and remains so. Addidas UK (a major shoe company) reportedly posted photos of naked women in protest. And pornography has been reported to be put in the comments section of Brian Sauve’s Facebook page. Perhaps this is what is included in 1 John 3:8 where it states that Jesus came to destroy (literally melt) the works of Satan!

The world has a big meltdown every time it sees it is losing.

R.J. Rushdoony assessed the culture of pornography as a religious expression.1 Pornography is in reality nothing more than the world’s response to the offense of the truth. Pornography is part of a larger defensive mechanism in fallen man’s arsenal to revitalize chaos. This is ancient Baalism of which its gates will never prevail against the church that Christ offensively builds. The leaven of the Kingdom is pervading, the world is melting. Jesus is making all things new—unstoppably so.
