How We View the Church
I’ve normally listed many posts in the form of a “Posts to Ponder” post each Saturday. This week was different for several reasons, but the chief reason is that I have not seen much worth noting this week. I did however view a video below that deserves a watch from beginning to end. I think it strikes the cord of how we must not only view the church but also build up the church. If we are viewing the faithful as those who are of Satan, that can’t be good. Let’s learn from the mistake learned below. I will post another post directly after this concerning how to prepare for the Lord’s Day tomorrow. But this post is equally useful in our attitude toward Christ’s bride. We actually want conservatives to come and to stay in the church. We don’t view them related to Satan, but related to us as a family by God. We actually pray that they would be protected from Satan’s schemes which often involves trying to edit the dictionary of terms like gospel, church, etc.
Why Conservatives Are Leaving Churches
Doug Wilson nails the issues here in this response video. Watch all the way to the end. “They could leave because they are of the synagogue of Satan or maybe they left because they discovered their pastor thought they were of the synagogue of Satan when all they wanted was a clear Word from God.”
